Over the course of McKinney’s Jewellers history, the business has evolved under the guidance of three generations of talented business entrepreneurs.

 

Established initially as a small Toowoomba hairdresser and tobacconist, McKinney’s first evolved into Toowoomba’s premier department store stocking everything from glassware, china and jewellery and then into the high end jeweller that it is today.

 

In 1988, McKinney’s Jewellers also took over Hardy Brothers with stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and were the sole proprietors for nine years.

 

In recent years, McKinney’s Jewellers has turned their focus back to their Queensland market, operating out of their flagship store at the lively Emporium precinct in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
